Student safety top priority
We are aware that some parents are concerned about a rumored threat at Hamilton Middle School.
Please know that if there were ever a credible threat, we would take immediate action in order to maximize safety by initiating protocols and notifying parents.
The safety and security of our students and employees is our top priority. Our previous actions show that we will not hesitate to initiate safety protocols, if the need arises.
To be clear, there is no cause for concern in any of our buildings, and we are open for a regularly scheduled school day.
We ask that students, employees, and community members contact us or local law enforcement if they ever feel there may be a potential threat or safety concern related to our students, employees, or our schools so we can respond accordingly.
