South High Library is looking for Volunteens for Summer
In preparation for the annual Summer Reading Challenge (June 1 - August 4), the South High Branch is currently recruiting summer VolunTeens. The VolunTeen program is an excellent way for students (ages 12-17 or rising seniors) to earn Internship or Volunteer hours, make new friends, and make a difference in their community.

VolunTeens help families sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge, help performers run daily programs, help serve lunch and snack, learn how to shelf books and A/V materials, and complete a College and Career Readiness portfolio. As a reward for all their hard work, VolunTeens earn an afterhours pizza party/lock-in, an ice cream party, and gift cards/raffle entries.

VolunTeens can work as little as one shift per week or as many as three or four shifts per week. Hours/days are flexible and can accommodate summer school, work, and family commitments.

If you are interested in participating, please print the attached volunteer forms linked below or contact the South High Branch Library for information or answers to your questions. The phone number to the South High Library is 614-479-3360.
