HES Teacher Nancy Gibson Speaks on Panel at Ohio State
Hamilton Elementary School's second-grade teacher, Nancy Gibson, was chosen to speak on the Ohio educator panel at Amplify Reading's Science of Reading Summit held on Tuesday, January 30th, at the Vitrias Event Center on Ohio State's campus. The event, dedicated to literacy leaders in Ohio, attracted over 50 school districts and 126 educators from across the state. Nancy highlighted the importance of building background knowledge and shared her passion by advocating for integrating literacy across all subjects, and showcased Hamilton Elementary's success with a structured literacy program.
