South High Library offers great programs; FREE Lunch & Snack over summer

The South High Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library offers many great programs over the summer for people of all ages. Our students can take advantage of their Summer Reading Challenge, Reading Buddies, and Yellow Apron programs. South High Branch also offer a regular Family Storytime for parents and their children ages 0-5 years as part of thier Kindergarten Readiness initiative.
 
The Summer Reading Challenge begins on June 2, 2018 and runs until August 4, 2018. Hamilton Elementary School students can earn Ranger Bucks by participating in this year's Summer Reading Challenge program.
 
Also, from June 4 - August 10, 2018, children 1-18 years of age are offered a FREE Lunch and Snack each weekday (M--F).
FREE Lunch is offered from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.
FREE Snack is offered from 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
** Lunch and snacks are offered thanks to support from the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department and U.S. Department of Education. 
 
Students interested in volunteering at the branch can become a VolunTeen as well. Info is attached below on how to apply.

Mon-Thur: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Fri: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sat: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sun: 1 - 5 p.m.

Reading Buddies Program:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
