Mrs. Pond is consistently a positive influence on the students she works with while maintaining high expectations. This alone would make her eligible for the honor, but her work with the Make a Wish Fundraiser has separated her from the pack and, as such, makes her appropriate for this month's nominee for STAR Teacher.
